Jersey Zoo Indoor Areas Re-open


Jersey Zoo have updated their recent statement and FAQ’s in light of the Government’s latest announcement. This now means Jersey Zoo will re-open its indoor area’s including the gift shop, Gerald Durrell Story exhibit, and most animal buildings, excluding the aye-aye and giant jumping rat buildings.


Please see further details of their changes below;


  • Indoor areas reopen today, including the gift shop, Gerald Durrell Story exhibit, and most animal buildings, excluding the aye-aye and giant jumping rat buildings.

  • No longer 25% off admission prices now that indoor areas have reopened.

  • There are limited butterflies for the time being due to supply issues

  • Face masks must still be worn in all indoor areas

  • Both cafés are still takeaway only and the indoor play area remains closed

  • Booking tickets for the zoo is not required

  • Durrell Charity Shop reopens today, back to normal opening hours of Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 – 13:00
