A tourism leader has praised the launch of several scenic bus routes designed to encourage exploration of Jersey's beautiful landscapes.
This initiative follows a collaboration between Liberty Bus and Great Scenic Journeys.
Tricia Warwick, chief executive of Visit Jersey, expressed her delight at the partnership.
A Liberty Bus spokesperson highlighted that the new routes would position the island as a top destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
The partnership showcases several scenic routes, including:
Route 1: St. Helier to Gorey Pier
Route 3: St. Helier to Jersey Zoo
Route 4: St. Helier to Bonne Nuit Bay and Bouley Bay
Route 7: St. Helier to Devil’s Hole
Route 9: St. Helier to Greve de Lecq
Route 14: St. Helier to St. Brelade’s Bay (Open Top Bus)
Route 22: St. Helier to L’Etacq
Kevin Hart, director of Liberty Bus, explained that the goal is "to showcase the experience of bus travel in Jersey, not only for visitors but also for our locals."
Regarding Route 14, he added, "It's our beach bus route and one of the most scenic. You'll enjoy picturesque views of the beach all the way along, especially around St Aubin."
