The dates for the 2025 Barclays Jersey Boat Show have been confirmed.
Ports of Jersey announced that the three-day event will take place at St Helier Marina and Weighbridge Place from 3-5 May 2025. Exhibitor registration is now open, allowing businesses to apply for attendance at the event.
Jersey’s harbour master, Captain Bill Sadler, expressed his excitement about showcasing the "best of the island’s maritime community" once again. He thanked sponsors, marine traders, exhibitors, and participants for their support, and highlighted the goal of making next year's show a more sustainable, environmentally conscious, and community-focused event.
As the largest free-entry public event in the Channel Islands, the show attracts over 30,000 visitors. The 2024 event featured 66 exhibitors, 41 food vendors, and 52 display boats.
In an effort to promote sustainability, Ports of Jersey introduced new guidelines for exhibitors, including the prohibition of balloons and confetti due to their impact on marine life.
Exhibitors are encouraged to use Velcro straps instead of cable ties, reuse banners, and reduce reliance on single-use plastics, polystyrene, and other disposable items like straws, containers, cutlery, and carrier bags.
