The government has announced the installation of several beach cleaning stations across Jersey.
According to officials, these stations, constructed by La Moye Prison, are part of a collaborative effort involving Plastic Free Jersey, Surfers Against Sewage, and the government's Climate Change Engagement team.
Located at eight different sites, the stations provide reusable bags and litter-picking tools for beach-goers to use. The government mentioned that local businesses will maintain the stations, which can be found at Bonne Nuit, the Gunsite, St Brelade, Greve de Lecq, Rozel, Havre des Pas, Gorey, and Bel Royal.
